Youth Philanthropy Applications Now Available

Do you want to make a difference in Putnam County? Are you a high school student interested in developing your leadership skills? Do you want to learn more about philanthropy?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is your chance.

The Putnam County Community Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Committee is accepting applications now for 2022-23 academic year.

Applications must be submitted online by Friday, March 18 at 5 p.m.

The Youth Philanthropy Committee reviews grant applications from Putnam County youth conducting service projects, completes its own group service project, and seeks funds for its own youth philanthropy endowment.

The committee meets monthly and consists of student leaders from all parts of the county. The program provides funding for youth-led projects in Putnam County through a competitive grant application process.

Students may learn more about this opportunity by contacting a Youth Philanthropy Committee member at their schools. At Cloverdale High School, contact Cory Branigan or Max Kaufman. The Greencastle High School representatives are Eli Hardwick, Isaac Hertenstein and Madelyn Landry. North Putnam students can contact Alaina Fritz, Gabrielle Simonson, Jayden Simpson and Ruby Sullivan. South Putnam is represented by Jacob Beadles, Brock Heavin, Caroline Hodge and Catherine Hodge.

Those interested may also contact Dean Gambill at 653-4978 or dgambill@pcfoundation.org.
