As the Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) celebrates 40 years of philanthropy and partnership, we’re excited to tip off a special edition of our signature endowment-building initiative, Share the Dream: Match Madness!
From November 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026, donors will have the opportunity to strengthen the future of local nonprofit organizations by contributing to their endowment funds held at PCCF. Thanks to an $80,000 match pool, every eligible gift of $25 or more will be proportionally matched, helping dollars go further and impact last longer.
A Special 40th Anniversary Edition
This year’s Share the Dream program isn’t just another campaign. It’s a community-wide celebration of four decades of growing generosity in Putnam County. For 40 years, PCCF has connected caring people with causes that matter. This program honors that legacy by investing in the long-term sustainability of the nonprofits that make our community thrive.
Participating organizations with existing endowments at PCCF will compete in fun, themed giving challenges inspired by NCAA March Madness, with opportunities to earn bonus dollars along the way.
How It Works
Gifts made directly to PCCF for participating organizational endowments will qualify for the match. All eligible gifts will be proportionally matched based on the total donations received.
Bonus challenges throughout the program will give donors even more ways to amplify their impact.
Bonus Challenges
Throughout Match Madness, organizations can earn extra match dollars through a series of exciting bonus challenges that keep the energy going from start to finish:
- Giving Tuesday Fast Break & Three-Point Shot: Kick off the season with rapid-fire giving and leaderboard prizes.
- Halftime Challenge: A mid-season boost rewarding organizations that reach fundraising milestones early.
- Fund Frenzy: A bracket-style showdown where top organizations compete for championship prizes.
- Legacy Layup Challenge: A lasting impact opportunity for organizations securing documented planned gifts.
Each challenge adds a little friendly competition, and a lot of fun, to this 40th anniversary celebration of community giving.
