The Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a special community grantmaking initiative designed to honor its past and celebrate Putnam County’s vibrant future. Through the Ruby Anniversary Grants Program, PCCF will award $40,000 in unrestricted funding to five local nonprofit organizations.
As part of the program, one organization will receive a $20,000 unrestricted grant, and four additional organizations will each receive $5,000 unrestricted grants. Nominated by PCCF’s 40th Anniversary Steering Committee and Grants Committee, the five participating organizations are:
Beyond Homeless Inc.
Family Support Services of West Central Indiana
Greencastle Civic League
Isaiah 1:17 House – Putnam County
Putnam County CERT
The Ruby Anniversary Grants program emphasizes community involvement by giving Putnam County residents the opportunity to vote for the organization they believe should receive the $20,000 grant. Every vote represents a pledge to carry forward “40 More Years of Philanthropy” in Putnam County.
Public voting will open October 17, 2025, through November 9, 2025, via SurveyMonkey, an online platform accessible on desktop and mobile devices. Each person may cast one vote per email address.
“For 40 years, the Putnam County Community Foundation has been a place where generosity takes root,” said Neysa Meyer, executive director. “This anniversary grant program gives the community the chance to celebrate that legacy while shaping the future of Putnam County together.”
The results will be announced at PCCF’s Ruby Anniversary Dinner on November 15, 2025 and will be shared on social media following the event. More information is available at pcfoundation.org/vote.
