The Putnam County Community Foundation is excited to host its last CommunityReads session for this year. CommunityReads, a book club designed to build new relationships while pushing oneself to explore new concepts, will be reading “What Unites Us” by Dan Rather and Elliot Kirschner.
“Dan Rather has been a trusted newsman for decades, and I think his perspective, like many others from his generation, is invaluable. Now more than ever, we need forums to respectfully discuss our disagreements while simultaneously recognizing that we have so much common ground to stand on,” said Brandon Wells, Putnam County Community Foundation Executive Director. “This book will be a great conversation starter and a reminder of our shared dreams.”
Book club participants will meet virtually on October 14, October 28, and November 11 from 3:30-4:30 PM.
Community members interested in participating should click here to register. There are 25 spots available. Books will be provided to all participants thanks to the generosity of our donors.
