Cloverdale Elementary School implemented its Clover U program in August 2017 to provide every student the opportunity to be educated in a way that prepares them for life outside the classroom. The framework of Clover U promotes post-secondary education awareness and builds the foundation for students to prosper at every stage of life.
Every classroom within Cloverdale Elementary School represents a different college. Walls are decorated with school banners and colors, lesson plans created around school facts, and students immersed in a program spearheaded by passionate teachers and administrators.
The long-term goals of Clover U are simple; 1) Improve families’ ability to plan for long-term academic or career success, and 2) increase the ability for students to secure meaningful employment.
The Cloverdale Community School Corporation (CCSC) was awarded $25,000 in 2017 to support Clover U. The Putnam County Community Foundation is proud to partner with CCSC to build a culture that provides students with the skills needed to succeed academically and emotionally.
