The Putnam County Community Foundation will begin accepting applications for the 2022 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship on August 1. All applications must be submitted online by September 8. Click here to access the online application.
Selection criteria for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship is based on scholastic abilities and intellectual pursuits, the capacity to lead and motivate fellow students, social commitment and extracurricular involvement, and the ability to articulate career plans that demonstrate motivation and initiative. Applicants must have an unweighted GPA of 3.8 or higher. In addition, they must have an SAT score of at least 1120 or an ACT score of at least 25.
This prestigious scholarship provides full-tuition, including a $900 book stipend per year, for four years to any accredited Indiana college or university.
The 2022 Putnam County Lilly Endowment Community Scholar will be named in mid-December 2021.
The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is a statewide program administered by local community foundations throughout Indiana, and Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) provides statewide oversight of the program.
Since the program was introduced in 1998, Lilly Endowment has remained steadfast in its belief that education at all levels is indispensable to the personal, civic, and economic well-being of Indiana residents and communities.
