The Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) has opened the Letter of Intent (LOI) period for its 2026 Community Impact Grants Program, launching PCCF’s annual competitive grantmaking cycle to support nonprofit organizations serving Putnam County with grants of $5,000 or more.
The Community Impact Grants Program is designed to meet community needs through broad, flexible grantmaking. Grants are funded through PCCF’s Community Impact funds and unrestricted endowments established for the general benefit of the community. Eligible organizations must submit a Letter of Intent through PCCF’s grants portal to be considered for invitation to submit a full application.

In addition to Community Impact Grants, PCCF offers several other grant opportunities throughout 2026 including the Small Grants and Youth Grants programs.
The Small Grants Program supports one-time expenses and immediate needs within the community. Requests must be less than $5,000 and align with PCCF’s areas of interest. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year and are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis until available funds are exhausted. Emergency or urgent needs will be given priority. Organizations may receive one Small Grant per calendar year.
Administered by PCCF’s Youth Philanthropy (YP) Committee, The Youth Grants Program, administered by PCCF’s Youth Philanthropy Committee, supports youth projects that benefit Putnam County. Beginning in 2026, eligibility has expanded to include youth-serving nonprofit organizations, in addition to youth-led initiatives. Grant requests are $750 or less and applications are accepted year-round. Organizations may receive one Youth Grant per calendar year.
