PCCF Supports Ag Day

Putnam County Ag Day is an annual tradition among our local ag community, bringing hundreds of people together to recognize and celebrate the role of agriculture in Putnam County. Putnam County Community Foundation is a proud supporter of this event.

The event served nearly 350 people, and the program featured Youth Philanthropy Committee member, Aiden Beadles, who is a senior at South Putnam High School where he serves as president of their FFA chapter.

Proceeds from the event benefit a variety of agricultural programs such as Putnam County FFA, 4-H or Putnam County Fairgrounds improvements.

This year, members of our Philanthropic Development Committee spent time offering coloring pages to kids, sharing our mission with the community and talking to folks about our Gifts of Grain program. Gifts of Grain provides an opportunity for farming families to give back to their community using the sale proceeds of their harvest. It’s an easy way to leave a legacy and invest in the future of Putnam County. Contact us to learn more.
