The Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) hosted a community event this week to make some big announcements including an evolution of their brand, a matching opportunity for donors and an upcoming funding opportunity for nonprofit organizations.
Community members, nonprofit partners, donors, and civic leaders gathered Tuesday to learn about PCCF’s refreshed brand identity and how it reflects the organization’s continued commitment to enriching quality of life and strengthening Putnam County for generations to come. The updated brand highlights PCCF’s role as a connector, convener, and catalyst for community impact while honoring the foundation’s trusted legacy.
“This brand evolution represents both who we are today and where we are headed,” said Neysa Meyer, Executive Director of PCCF. “We are building on decades of partnership and generosity to create new pathways for impact. Our goal is to make philanthropy more visible, more accessible, and more inspiring for everyone who cares about the future of our community.”
PCCF also announced it has received a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. through the Community Support Grant component of the ninth phase of its Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow (GIFT IX) initiative. This is one of 92 Community Support Grants being awarded through GIFT IX, a statewide Lilly Endowment initiative designed to support the efforts of community foundations to strengthen the quality of life in the communities they serve.
The Community Support Grant is designed to provide the community foundation with flexible funding to enhance its grantmaking capacity to address compelling, near-term needs in its county. The community foundation will have up to three years to use its grant to address community-driven priorities.
PCCF is currently conducting a Nonprofit Needs Assessment that will inform its regranting strategy grounded in real data and community voice. While details are still being finalized, PCCF encouraged nonprofit partners and community stakeholders to stay engaged as more information becomes available in the coming months.
GIFT IX also includes a matching grant opportunity. Unrestricted gifts made now through June 30, 2028 will be matched $2 (Lilly Endowment)-for-$1 (donor) through GIFT IX’s Matching Grant component. For more information about this matching opportunity, please visit the Endowment’s website.

The announcements come at a time of continued momentum for PCCF as the organization expands its leadership role in addressing local needs, strengthening nonprofit capacity, and encouraging a culture of giving. With a renewed brand, new grant resources, and a significant matching opportunity now underway, PCCF leaders say they are focused on deepening partnerships and inspiring more people to invest in the future of Putnam County. Together, these initiatives position PCCF to grow charitable impact today while building lasting endowments that will strengthen the community for decades to come.
