Putnam County is built on hard work, deep generosity, and a shared commitment to building a brighter future for everyone who calls this community home. At the Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF), we believe that when local nonprofits have the right resources and support, our entire community thrives.
Following our recent Nonprofit Needs Assessment, we are excited to share our 2027 grant opportunities and nonprofit services designed to meet organizations right where they are.
Strategic Investments for Lasting Impact
Whether your organization is launching a transformational project, navigating a sudden one-time expense, or strengthening internal operations, PCCF offers tailored grant programs to support your mission:
- Community Impact Grants: Funding strategic initiatives of $5,000 or more that address pressing local needs across Putnam County.
- Small Grants: Providing nimble support under $5,000 for immediate, one-time community needs.
- Capacity Building Grants: Dedicated financial support to help 501(c)(3) nonprofits strengthen professional development, strategic planning, technology, and organizational governance.
- Youth Grants: Empowering youth-led and youth-serving initiatives that make a lasting community impact.
- Sponsorships: Supporting charitable events that unite and enrich our county.
Beyond Grantmaking: Expanded Nonprofit Services
True community impact requires more than financial support alone. This year, PCCF is expanding its nonprofit resources to foster collaboration and continuous learning. Nonprofit leaders can take advantage of our ongoing educational Learning Series, professional grant writing assistance, quarterly e-newsletters, and interactive roundtable gatherings. Plus, you can look forward to our new Digital Resource Library, an easy to navigate collection of nonprofit resources such as policy templates, best practices, recommended project consultants, and more, coming in 2027.
Find the Right Opportunity for Your Organization
Every program features specific eligibility criteria, application windows, and review timelines. We encourage all local nonprofit leaders, board members, and community organizers to explore full program guidelines, review key dates, and access applications directly on our website.
Together, we look forward to all that is ahead—and we get there by giving back to the place we call home.
