Apply Now for 2027 Scholarships

The Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) is pleased to announce the availability of over $200,000 in scholarship funding for the 2027–2028 academic year. The application process is entirely electronic, and students can access the online application by visiting PCCF’s website.

PCCF administers more than 40 scholarship funds. While the majority of awards support graduating high school seniors and returning college undergraduates, valuable opportunities are also available for non-traditional students—including adults returning to the classroom, individuals pursuing trade or vocational programs, and those seeking professional certificate credentials. A list of available scholarships and specific eligibility criteria can be found on the PCCF website.

“Putnam County students can apply for dozens of scholarships by filling out one universal application on our website,” said Dean Gambill, community development director at PCCF. “Whether you are preparing to graduate high school, continuing your college degree, or expanding your skills through an adult education or trade program, we encourage you to apply.”

High school seniors can visit their school guidance office for assistance with the application process, while returning college students and adult learners are encouraged to reach out directly to the Foundation office for guidance. To be considered for scholarships, all applicants must submit their completed application by January 18, 2027, at 5:00 PM.

“Every student’s educational path is unique, but financial barriers shouldn’t stand in the way of their potential,” said Executive Director Neysa Meyer. “From university classrooms to vocational trades and professional certificates, our local donors are dedicated to supporting Putnam County learners at every stage.”
