The Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) gathered Board members, volunteers and grantees to celebrate our 2024 grant recipients at a Grants Reception in November.
PCCF’s competitive grant funds are provided thanks to over 45 named unrestricted funds created by individuals and families who seek to leave a lasting legacy of philanthropy in Putnam County. In 2024, their generosity provided approximately $240,00 in grant funds, while PCCF received grant requests of more than $343,000.
While these requests can make our jobs as grant makers more challenging, they are a testament to the great work being done by our nonprofit partners, schools, churches and other organizations in Putnam County.
At our Grants Reception, we were honored to recognize those organizations which were awarded grants through our Community Grants program, Youth Grants program and other special grant initiatives in 2024.
Special thanks to Karen Heavin, Phil Gick and Karen Headley for sharing more information about their organizations’ grant-funded projects. Congratulations to each of our 2024 grantees:
