We are excited to announce that the application for Adult Skills Development Grants is now available!
The purpose of these grants is to provide financial assistance to adults who desire to obtain post-secondary education/training to improve their opportunities in the workforce. Candidates must pursue a widely accredited certification, credentialing, or apprenticeship program that advances the individual’s field/industry/skilled trade credentials. For example, candidates could be seeking a CDL certification, welding apprenticeship, or cosmetology license.
Eligibility Criteria:
A resident of Putnam County, Indiana
Possesses a high school diploma or an approved high school equivalency program certification
Does not possess a bachelor’s degree
Applications must be submitted online by Friday, December 31, at 5 PM to be considered. Recipients will be notified within 30 days of the application deadline.
