Youth Philanthropy Committee
Putnam County high school students can come together to support youth, serve the community, and learn how philanthropy works by joining the Youth Philanthropy (YP) Committee.
YP Committee members:
- Review grant requests for youth-led and youth-serving projects
- Decide how real dollars are invested in their community
- Learn from community leaders and students across the county
- Participate in hands-on service projects
- Help raise funds for the Putnam County Youth Philanthropy Endowment
- Act as a YP ambassador for their school, sharing opportunities and promoting events

Eligibility
Applicants must be entering grades 9-12 in the upcoming school year.
Applicants must reside in or attend school in Putnam County.
Applicants must be able to fulfill membership expectations including meeting attendance and project participation.
Our application period is not yet open for the 2027-28 school year.
