Purpose of Fund
The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide financial support to charitable projects and agencies as suggested by the Fund Advisor, and approved by the Foundation Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as the "Board"), provided that such programs and contributions are consistent with the exempt purposes and status of the Foundation.  Pursuant to federal law, grants from donor advised accounts may not fulfill payment of a pledge or other financial obligation.  Fund Advisers or involved persons may not expect any personal or family benefit from charitable distributions.  Examples of ineligible grants include:  grants to individuals, such as scholarships, ticket purchases to fund raising events, green fees to a charity golf tournament, and reimbursement for charitable expenses incurred by advisor, donor, or related others.
