Purpose of Fund
The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide a source of income for the general operating expenses of Putnam County Comprehensive Services, Inc.

History of Fund

PCCS was developed when a group of Putnam County citizens recognized the need for services for individuals with disabilities. In 1968, PCCS was incorporated with an enrollment of 13 adults and 17 preschoolers.

Putnam County Comprehensive Services (PCCS) is a private, not-for-profit agency serving citizens with mental, physical, or developmental disabilities, and some with economical needs in Putnam and surrounding counties. PCCS serves adults (16 years and over), and provides limited services for infants and school age children (0-15 years of age). PCCS presently offers approximately 26 different services. Currently, about 400 individuals with special needs are enrolled in the various programs offered by this agency. A few of the services provided by PCCS expand into 26 counties.
