Since 2003, Putnam County Museum has been bridging generations, connecting communities, and helping to preserve Putnam County’s past. Whether you are a lifelong resident of the area or a visitor to our community, you are cordially invited to visit us and learn more about Putnam County.
Please come visit! Our website can only hint at the experience awaiting you in the Museum itself. We are located at 1105 N. Jackson Street in Greencastle (in what many county residents will remember as the old Kroger building). We welcome visitors Tuesday through Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm, or by appointment. If you have a group, please call in advance (765.653.8419) so that we can arrange a special tour.
