The Silver Anniversary League
Vision. Inspiration. Preservation
Year Founded
2010
Purpose of League
To commemorate the Community Foundation's 25th Anniversary, the Board of Directors established an exclusive League of 25 donors who will transform the Community Grants program of the Community Foundation. Imagine the impact these twenty-five people will have on future generations in Putnam County.
The program is simple:
- Exclusive circle. Only the first twenty-five persons/families may become members of the league.
- Matching opportunity. Members of the League will have gifts matches 1:1 by the Community Foundation, creating a $25,000 individually named endowment.
- Time-limited. This opportunity celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Foundation.
- Pledges accepted. Written pledges will be accepted for one, two or three years.
Benefits are many:
- Members of the League will be recognized at the 25th Anniversary celebration, in the annual report, on a permanent plaque in the Community Foundation office, and in other publicity.
- Members will be invited and encouraged to present grant award checks at the grant award breakfasts.
- Members will be individually recognized each time grants from their named endowments are awarded.
- Each year, members will make grants totaling $25,000 for the benefit of the community in perpetuity.
