McDonald's/Jedele Enterprises Endowment

Year Founded
2015

Founder

Robert W. and Jamie S. Jedele

Purpose of Fund
The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide unrestricted financial support to the programs and purposes of the Putnam County Community Foundation, Putnam County, Indiana.

History of Fund
Robert and Jamie Jedele joined the Greencastle community in 1995, raising their four children and establishing Jedele Enterprises which owns seven McDonald’s franchises in Central Indiana. In 2007, the couple established a donor-advised endowment at the Community Foundation for the convenience and flexibility it provides for their charitable giving. In 2014, Bob and Jamie were inspired to help the community reach the matching challenge presented by Lilly Endowment and established a new unrestricted endowment that will grow and support projects in all geographic and philanthropic areas in Putnam County in perpetuity.
