100 Women Who Care Putnam County!
100 Women Who Care Putnam County allows busy women to become involved in giving back to the local community in a big way. Women members meet four times a year for a one-hour meeting. At each meeting, members may submit the name of a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization or a government entity she would like to have included in a drawing. At the meeting, three members' submissions are chosen, and each of the three members will be given five minutes to provide an explanation of the organization and its services. Five minutes will also be provided for questions if needed. At the end of the presentations, members vote, ballots are counted, and a winner is announced. if membership grows to 100 members, organiztions selected will receive $10,000 at each meeting! The larger the group, the greater the impact that will be made.
There are three wonderful benefits to joining 100 Women Who Care. First, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with other female philanthropists from our community. Second, you will have the opportunity to advocate for a non-profit that you care about to receive funding and to learn about other community non-profits. Most importantly, with very little commitment of time and a modest commitment of financial resources, Putnam County woman can have a tremendous immediate impact. Once membership grows to 100 members, your $100 donation will result in a $10,000 donation to the selected non-profit. The larger the group becomes, the more money will be donated to our hard-working non-profit agencies, projects and organization who do so much to make Putnam County a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
